Tonight’s Best: Venus-Jupiter Conjunction

Tonight, August 27, 2016, the sky’s two brightest planets Venus and Jupiter will stage the year’s closest conjunction of two planets. Venus and Jupiter engage in their closest conjunction in nearly a half a century. This Saturday night, make plans to get a clear view of the western horizon in order to see a celestial event that won’t happen again until 2065 (Cofield, 2016).
