Hi, my name is Brian Nichols. I am a storage administrator, system administrator, network administrator, infrastructure architect, end user, novice programmer and I work in IT. Enough said. No, but seriously for those of you that know what it’s like working in the IT department of a medium sized business with a budget suited for about 3 employees – then you really know what it’s like to work in IT.

That being said for those of you that don’t work in the IT department, then this blog is not for you. This blog was created originally for me to share my experiences, problems, failures and ultimately successes with other like minded individuals that also work in the IT departments around the world.
